User Control

User Control:
Click on Settings > User Settings to open the user window.

  1. Current User: set the user name for the current user. Each user has a unique acquisition setting and adding a new user creates a separate output folder in "C:/data/username" by default.
  2. Control Speeds: set the speed for different translation modes, including Slow, Normal, Fast, and Gamepad.
  3. Export Options: select the localization information to export as a CSV file.
  4. Python Options: set the editor command, default to "notepad.exe".
  5. Acquisition Options:
    1. Crop Tiff Images: check to crop the two channels from the full camera chip and stitch them side-by-side to create the output image, default to checked
    2. Turn Lasers Off And Disable Light Program After Acquisition: check to disable the light program and its associated lasers after each acquisition, default to checked.
    3. Show File Size Warning Before Acquiring: check to show a warning for taking large data, default to unchecked:
    4. Limit Tiff Image Size To 2GB: check to set a hard cap for the output Tiff file to 2GB, default to unchecked. For data larger than 2GB, save it as multiple Tiff files.
    5. Disable Saving of Raw Images: check to disable saving the raw (wide-field) images, default to unchecked.
    6. Save A Rendered Image Of Localizations: check to save the localizations as a Tiff file, default to unchecked.
  6. Other Options: check to move the stage to its origin (0,0,0) upon disconnection, default to checked.
